Interactive/Graphic Designer - Odyssey Interactive:
April 2009 - Present (Full time)

I was responsible for the design and development of client websites, e-shots, html emails, and animated banners.

I was also responsible for the design and build of the client intranets, each of which were sold as a bespoke product based upon a template content management system.

This was a great lesson in designing and building sites to the limits and restrictions of a CMS. Deadlines were particularly tight too, and I found myself streamlining various design processes in order to meet client expectations.

Web Designer/Developer - Work Communications:
Feb 2007 - March 2009 (Full time)

I was responsible for the design and development of client websites, e-shots, html emails, and animated banners.

I also developed contact forms, upload forms, rss feeds, search facilities, password logins and a content-managed website.

Another of my duties was the search engine optimisation of the agency’s sites, and setting up of pay-per-click campaigns.

In addition to this, I also gained an invaluable experience in working in an agency environment, working to deadlines, analysing problems and helping to plan projects.

Web Designer/Developer - Rapidflame Limited:
Oct 2006 - Jan 2007 (Full time)

I was responsible for the design and development of the company’s database-driven website, which featured both an English and Chinese version.

This involved the marketing of the firm’s brand to attempt to increase business via it’s online channel, and also included the development of a control panel designed to enable the firm’s staff to log on and continue to maintain/update the website. I was also required to train the staff to do this.
